TomTom has appointed Anouk Stoof as Global Head of Marketing, placing her at the helm of its global marketing organisation as the company continues to strengthen its positioning as a B2B technology business.
Anouk brings more than 19 years of experience in global marketing leadership, with expertise in brand development, reputation management, strategic partnerships and connecting marketing programmes with business growth. In her new role, she will oversee brand, communications, creative, events and marketing activations.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Anouk expressed her enthusiasm for leading the global marketing organisation and working with the team to strengthen the TomTom brand, sharpen its global narrative and bring its marketing ambitions to life across markets.
She also thanked Mike Schoofs, Manuela Locarno Ajayi and the TomTom leadership team for their trust and confidence.
Connecting brand strategy with business growth
A key priority for Anouk is TomTom’s brand repositioning and the way the company communicates its value to global audiences. Her focus includes building greater consistency across markets and channels while ensuring that brand experiences reflect the company’s evolving B2B technology proposition.
Her remit also encompasses global events, partner marketing and executive thought leadership, positioning these activities as strategic drivers of customer engagement, business development and brand visibility.
The approach reflects the growing role of marketing in translating complex technology propositions into clear narratives that resonate with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
Building a scalable global marketing organisation
Anouk’s responsibilities extend beyond brand communications to the operating model that supports global marketing execution. She oversees a team of 11 and manages a multimillion-euro budget, with an emphasis on measurable outcomes and accountability.
She has also focused on building a scalable model that connects marketing with sales, product teams and strategic partners. This cross-functional approach is designed to align marketing activity more closely with business priorities and ensure that global programmes deliver tangible value.
Elevating executive visibility and market positioning
Executive visibility and thought leadership form another important part of Anouk’s remit. Through global speaking platforms, strategic partnerships and leadership programmes, her focus is on strengthening how TomTom communicates its expertise and engages with its audiences.
As technology companies compete for attention in increasingly complex markets, coordinated brand positioning, credible executive voices and consistent customer experiences can help connect corporate strategy with market perception.
For TomTom, Anouk’s appointment brings these priorities together under a global marketing leadership role focused on brand strength, collaboration and business impact.
