Qualcomm has appointed Wassim Chourbaji as Senior Vice President & President, EMEA, strengthening its regional leadership as the company continues to expand its business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In his new role, Wassim will lead Qualcomm's strategy across the EMEA region, overseeing business growth, strategic partnerships, and regional operations while driving the company's next phase of innovation across one of its most important global markets.
Leading Qualcomm's Next Chapter in EMEA
Wassim brings more than two decades of experience at Qualcomm, having held leadership roles spanning business development, strategic partnerships, and government affairs throughout the region.
His extensive knowledge of the EMEA market and long-standing experience within the organization position him to lead Qualcomm's continued expansion as demand for advanced connectivity, AI, automotive technologies, and intelligent edge computing continues to grow.
Building on a Strong Leadership Legacy
Wassim succeeds Enrico Salvatori, who will continue to serve as Chairman until June 2027.
During his 25 years of leadership, Enrico played a significant role in expanding Qualcomm's presence across EMEA, strengthening partnerships across multiple industries, and helping establish the company's long-term regional growth strategy.
