Jonathan Halvorson has joined Kimberly-Clark as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing extensive experience in consumer marketing, digital transformation and commerce strategy to the global consumer products company.

The move comes as Kimberly-Clark and Kenvue prepare to bring their businesses together, creating an opportunity to align marketing capabilities across a broad portfolio of established consumer and health brands.

Jonathan most recently served as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at Kenvue, where he was responsible for marketing excellence and the company's digital commerce strategy. His remit included creating new growth opportunities and improving consumer experiences across brands such as Aveeno, BAND-AID Brand, Johnson's, Listerine, Neutrogena and Tylenol.

His transition to Kimberly-Clark places a marketing leader with experience across brand management, digital media, consumer engagement and commerce at the centre of a significant organisational transition.

From Mondelēz To Kenvue

Before joining Kenvue in November 2025, Jonathan spent more than eight years at Mondelēz International, where he served as Senior Vice President of Consumer Experience and Digital Commerce from 2017.

At Mondelēz, he led global teams focused on digital marketing, data-driven consumer engagement and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI. His work spanned well-known brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Ritz and Chips Ahoy, connecting brand strategy with media investment, digital experiences and commercial performance.

Earlier in his career, Jonathan served as Global Director of Video Strategy and Operations at Twitter, where his work focused on digital video experiences, revenue optimisation and the development of advertising solutions.

His professional background also includes experience in global media strategy at General Motors and agency-side leadership roles involving major consumer brands. This combination of advertiser, technology platform and agency experience has given him exposure to different parts of the marketing ecosystem.

Jonathan holds an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri.

Marketing At The Centre Of Business Integration

As Kimberly-Clark brings together capabilities from its existing business and Kenvue, aligning marketing strategy and consumer engagement will be an important part of the broader integration.

The combined portfolio spans household, personal care and consumer health categories, with brands serving consumers across different markets and stages of life. Building on that breadth will require a clear understanding of consumer behaviour, effective brand positioning and consistent execution across channels.

Jonathan's experience in digital commerce and data-driven marketing offers a foundation for connecting those priorities. At Mondelēz, he worked across global brands and digital engagement strategies. At Kenvue, his responsibilities extended to transforming digital commerce and strengthening consumer experiences across a diverse portfolio.

His appointment reflects the strategic role marketing can play in bringing together established brands, digital capabilities and new growth opportunities.

As he begins this next chapter, Jonathan's focus will be on helping Kimberly-Clark strengthen its marketing capabilities and deliver meaningful consumer experiences across its evolving portfolio.
