John Schneider Joins Fundraise Up As Chief Marketing Officer

Article content
John Schneider has joined Fundraise Up as Chief Marketing Officer, moving from the human resources technology sector into a business focused on modernising how people give to charitable causes.
John announced the appointment as an opportunity to bring his marketing leadership experience to a high-growth technology company operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence and social impact.
At Fundraise Up, he will lead the global marketing organisation, overseeing brand, product marketing, demand acceleration and partner ecosystem marketing. His remit includes strengthening the company's market position, expanding its enterprise presence and supporting nonprofits seeking to grow their fundraising efforts.
The move follows his work in HR technology at UKG, where he focused on platform and portfolio marketing. His earlier career also includes senior marketing roles at Betterworks and Intapp, alongside experience at Jive Software and eBay Enterprise.
Making Digital Giving More Accessible
Fundraise Up is focused on reimagining digital philanthropy through technology designed to improve the donor experience and reduce barriers to giving. Its platform combines artificial intelligence, behavioural science and streamlined checkout capabilities to help nonprofit organisations convert more online visitors into donors.
For charitable organisations, the digital donation experience can influence whether a potential supporter completes a contribution, chooses recurring giving or returns to donate again. Improving that experience is an important part of helping nonprofits build more sustainable fundraising programmes.
Fundraise Up works with mission-driven organisations, including UNICEF USA, the American Heart Association and The Salvation Army. The company positions its technology around helping nonprofits strengthen donor engagement and increase the effectiveness of their digital fundraising efforts.
As organisations continue to explore how AI can improve digital experiences, fundraising technology represents a practical application of automation and personalisation in a sector where the outcome extends beyond commercial growth.
A Broader Marketing Mandate
John's new role extends across the full marketing organisation, connecting brand development and product positioning with demand generation and partner marketing.
The mandate also includes expanding Fundraise Up's enterprise market presence and strengthening its position in digital fundraising technology. These priorities place marketing at the centre of how the company communicates its value to nonprofit leaders and builds relationships across the philanthropic ecosystem.
His transition from HR technology to fundraising software also reflects the range of sectors where enterprise marketing expertise can be applied to technology-led business growth. While the industries differ, both involve communicating complex technology in terms of the outcomes it can deliver for people and organisations.
At Fundraise Up, John will bring that experience to a mission centred on helping nonprofits raise support for the causes they serve.
