Roku has expanded Sarah (Warner) Harms’ remit to VP, Advertising Revenue Solutions, bringing together the organisation’s Marketing, Measurement, Partner and Account Management functions under one leadership structure.
Sarah shared the expanded role in July, describing it as an opportunity to bring together teams she has previously led with Roku’s pre- and post-sale partner and account management functions.
The new structure is designed to create a more unified approach to supporting Roku Advertising revenue and its advertising brand, connecting client engagement from product discovery and RFPs through campaign reporting.
Bringing Advertising Functions Together
Sarah’s expanded organisation combines functions that play different but connected roles across the advertising lifecycle.
Her remit brings Marketing and Measurement together with Partner and Account Management, creating a single organisation responsible for supporting clients and partners across the journey from initial product discovery through post-campaign reporting.
For advertisers, that structure is intended to provide greater continuity as campaigns move between sales, solution development, measurement and ongoing account management.
Connecting Marketing, Measurement and Revenue
Measurement has become an increasingly important part of the connected TV advertising ecosystem as advertisers look beyond reach and impressions to understand campaign effectiveness.
Roku's advertising platform supports measurement across areas including reach, brand resonance, sales attribution and other outcomes through its measurement ecosystem.
Bringing measurement closer to marketing, partnerships and account management can help connect those capabilities more directly to how advertisers evaluate and optimise their campaigns.
Building a Unified Client Experience
A central element of Sarah’s expanded remit is the creation of one organisation supporting clients from product discovery through the completion of a campaign.
Rather than separating pre-sale and post-sale responsibilities, the structure brings Partner and Account Management functions into the same organisation as Marketing and Measurement.
For Roku’s advertising partners, the approach is intended to create a clearer line of ownership across the customer lifecycle, from RFP development to campaign results and reporting.
Supporting Roku Advertising Growth
Roku continues to expand its advertising capabilities across self-serve and managed solutions, with its Ads Manager platform supporting campaign creation, audience targeting, optimisation and measurement.
The company also maintains a broad measurement partner ecosystem covering areas such as reach, attribution, incrementality and campaign verification.
Sarah’s expanded role places these capabilities within a broader organisational structure focused on connecting solutions with advertiser needs and supporting Roku’s advertising revenue growth.
A Broader Leadership Mandate
Sarah has spent her time at Roku leading its Marketing and Measurement teams, and the expanded remit builds on that experience by adding responsibility for Partner and Account Management functions.
She acknowledged that there is still listening and learning ahead as she works with teams that are both new to her organisation and taking on new responsibilities themselves.
The move represents a broader leadership mandate for Sarah and a more integrated operating model for Roku Advertising as the company continues to build its advertising business.
