Hitachi Vantara has appointed Adel Hosein as Channel Account Manager, marking the next chapter in a career built around enterprise storage, data protection and IT channel partnerships.
Adel joins Hitachi Vantara following experience with Xerox IT Solutions and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where he developed relationships across the technology channel and worked closely with partners and customers.
Returning to enterprise storage
Adel's move brings him back to an area that has been central to his professional experience: enterprise storage.
In his announcement, he highlighted the opportunity to return to his roots in enterprise storage while continuing to focus on partner relationships, opportunity development and helping customers address business challenges.
The role places those capabilities within Hitachi Vantara, whose portfolio spans enterprise storage, data management, data protection, hybrid cloud and AI-ready infrastructure.
A channel-focused mandate
As Channel Account Manager, Adel will work within Hitachi Vantara's partner ecosystem, building on his experience of developing relationships across the IT channel.
Partner relationships are an important part of Hitachi Vantara's go-to-market model. The company offers infrastructure and services through partners across areas including storage, hybrid cloud and infrastructure as a service.
For Adel, the new role brings together the commercial and relationship-building aspects of his career with a technology category he knows well.
Enterprise data infrastructure at the center
Hitachi Vantara positions itself as a data infrastructure provider for mission-critical enterprise environments, with capabilities spanning modern data storage, intelligent data management and AI-powered hybrid cloud solutions.
Its VSP One portfolio brings block, file, object and mainframe storage together through a unified data platform, while the company's broader portfolio includes data protection, governance and AIOps capabilities.
That makes enterprise storage and data resilience central to the conversations Adel will be having with partners and customers in his new role.
Building on relationships and experience
Adel's career has been shaped by long-term relationships within the technology channel. His time with Xerox IT Solutions and HPE gave him exposure to enterprise technology and partner-led business, while his experience in storage and data protection provides a direct connection to Hitachi Vantara's core market.
In his announcement, Adel also acknowledged the people and relationships he developed throughout those previous chapters, highlighting the role they played in preparing him for his move to Hitachi Vantara.
A new chapter with Hitachi Vantara
Adel's appointment comes as enterprise customers continue to reassess their infrastructure strategies around data growth, resilience, hybrid cloud and AI.
Hitachi Vantara is increasingly positioning its infrastructure portfolio around AI-ready data foundations, with its current strategy connecting storage, data management, resilience and AI infrastructure.
For Adel, the new position provides an opportunity to reconnect with familiar partners, develop new relationships and bring his enterprise storage experience into the next phase of the company's channel strategy.
