LUMIQ has appointed Rohit Nagpal as Global President & CEO, Americas, bringing senior commercial leadership to the company's expansion across North America.
Rohit will lead the build-out of LUMIQ's North American go-to-market engine, with responsibility spanning sales, marketing, partnerships and M&A.
His appointment comes as LUMIQ continues to expand its financial services offering around LiteCone, its AI workforce platform designed to support decision-making and automation across financial services.
Leading LUMIQ's North American Growth
In his new role, Rohit will focus on building LUMIQ's North American go-to-market team and pipeline while establishing a more consistent global sales cadence.
His mandate also includes leading marketing efforts towards financial services decision-makers, developing strategic partnerships and supporting the company's M&A agenda across the Americas.
The role brings together commercial leadership and market expansion at a time when banks and insurers are increasingly looking at AI not only to improve operational efficiency, but also to make complex decisions more consistent, explainable and auditable.
For LUMIQ, North America represents a significant market for taking its AI-led financial services capabilities to a broader set of institutions.
Building on LiteCone's Production Experience
Rohit's appointment comes as LUMIQ positions LiteCone as a core part of its financial services strategy.
The company says LiteCone's LEO agent is already being used in production by a leading life insurer, where it makes 75–80% of underwriting decisions without human intervention.
According to LUMIQ, the deployment has helped reduce policy issuance costs by approximately 25% and bring turnaround times down from days to under eight minutes.
The platform operates continuously and provides an auditable decision trail, addressing requirements that are particularly relevant to financial institutions where automation needs to be balanced with governance and regulatory accountability.
Bringing a Go-to-Market Focus to AI Adoption
Rohit's focus will extend beyond introducing AI capabilities to potential customers. A key part of his mandate will be building the commercial structure required to take production-level use cases into broader market adoption.
For financial institutions, the value proposition increasingly involves more than simply automating a process. Decisions need to be defensible, operational costs need to be controlled and customer-facing processes need to deliver better experiences.
Rohit has highlighted this broader requirement in describing the opportunity across North America, pointing to the need for financial institutions to combine faster processes with lower cost to serve and decisions that can be defended to regulators.
Expanding Partnerships and M&A
Alongside sales and marketing, Rohit will oversee LUMIQ's partnership and M&A agenda across the Americas.
The focus provides LUMIQ with an opportunity to combine organic go-to-market expansion with external partnerships and strategic opportunities that can strengthen its presence in the region.
As AI adoption across financial services develops, partnerships can also play an important role in connecting technology capabilities with existing financial services ecosystems and institutional requirements.
Rohit's mandate therefore brings together several elements of LUMIQ's growth strategy, from building the regional team and pipeline to developing the broader commercial ecosystem around its AI offering.
LUMIQ's Financial Services AI Strategy
LUMIQ describes itself as an AI-native services company focused exclusively on financial services.
Its model combines forward-deployed engineers with LiteCone's AI workforce, with the company stating that LiteCone has already been in production for more than a year.
The approach is centred on applying AI to financial services workflows while maintaining the operational and governance requirements expected by banks, insurers and other financial institutions.
With LiteCone's Codecision AI workforce focused on financial services, LUMIQ is positioning the platform around production-scale decision automation rather than AI experimentation alone.
A New Chapter for Rohit Nagpal
For Rohit, the appointment marks a new chapter focused on building LUMIQ's presence across the Americas.
His immediate priorities will centre on establishing the North American go-to-market organisation, building pipeline, strengthening sales and marketing alignment, and developing partnerships that can support the company's regional expansion.
The combination of commercial leadership and LUMIQ's existing production experience with LiteCone gives Rohit a platform to take the company's financial services AI proposition into a market where institutions are increasingly evaluating how AI can improve decision-making, efficiency and customer outcomes.
