Iron Mountain has appointed Jeremy Rosall as Chief Transformation and Business Services Officer, placing him at the helm of the company's newly established Global Transformation and Business Services (GTBS) organisation.

The new organisation brings together Global Business Services, Transformation, Global Procurement, Global Real Estate and Global Revenue Management under one leadership structure.

Jeremy described the move as a significant step for Iron Mountain, with the combined organisation designed to create greater alignment across functions and connect day-to-day operations more closely with the company's broader enterprise transformation agenda.

Bringing Five Functions Together

The creation of GTBS represents a significant organisational change for Iron Mountain.

By bringing five previously distinct functions together, the company aims to create a more connected operating model that can move faster, reduce functional silos and strengthen coordination across the enterprise.

The organisation will bring together more than 2,300 employees across 40 countries, with centres of excellence in Bangalore, Bogota, Cluj and Manila.

For Jeremy, the opportunity is to harness the collective capabilities of these teams while aligning their work with Iron Mountain's longer-term transformation priorities.

Leading Enterprise Transformation

Jeremy's new mandate places transformation at the centre of the organisation's operating model.

His team will work to align Iron Mountain's enterprise transformation goals with the operational work taking place across GTBS, creating a closer connection between strategic initiatives and execution.

Jeremy has previously highlighted the role of transformation in connecting business partners with operational agility. His recent work at Iron Mountain has also included efforts to scale AI and digital transformation across global business services.

The new structure gives that transformation agenda a broader organisational platform.

Combining Digital Innovation and AI

Technology will be a key component of GTBS's mandate.

Jeremy said the organisation will combine digital innovation, AI, smart workspace design and revenue tools as it works to strengthen Iron Mountain for the future.

That direction aligns with Iron Mountain's broader investment in intelligent workflows and AI-enabled business services. The company's InSight Digital Experience Platform, for example, is designed to connect data and workflows across Global Business Services while using AI to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

The integration of transformation and business services creates an opportunity to apply these capabilities more consistently across the enterprise.

Building a Global Operating Model

With more than 2,300 employees across 40 countries, GTBS will operate as a globally connected organisation.

Its centres of excellence in Bangalore, Bogota, Cluj and Manila will form an important part of the operating model, providing specialised capabilities that can support transformation and business operations across markets.

The structure reflects the increasing importance of globally integrated business services as companies seek to standardise processes while maintaining the flexibility to respond to local business requirements.

Strengthening Revenue and Business Operations

The inclusion of Global Revenue Management alongside Procurement, Real Estate, Transformation and Global Business Services gives GTBS a broad operational remit.

Rather than treating transformation as a standalone programme, the new organisation connects transformation with the functions responsible for how the enterprise operates day to day.

That structure can help Iron Mountain align efficiency, technology adoption, workplace strategy, revenue processes and business services around common enterprise priorities.

A New Chapter for Iron Mountain's Transformation Agenda

Jeremy's appointment comes as Iron Mountain continues to evolve from its traditional information management roots into a broader technology and data-focused business.

The company now operates across information management, digital transformation, data security, data centres and asset lifecycle management, serving more than 240,000 customers across 61 countries.

The creation of GTBS adds another layer to that transformation, bringing a significant portion of the company's internal operating capabilities together under one organisation.

With Jeremy leading the new structure, Iron Mountain is positioning transformation as an integrated enterprise capability rather than a series of separate functional initiatives.
