Hexaware has appointed Vivek Jetley as CEO Designate, marking the beginning of a leadership transition that will see him assume the CEO role on October 28, 2026.
The appointment comes as Hexaware enters what the company describes as its next phase of accelerated growth, with AI reshaping enterprise technology services and creating new areas of client demand.
Jetley brings more than 25 years of experience spanning AI and data, enterprise transformation and strategy. His career has included leadership of global businesses, large P&Ls and growth initiatives through periods of significant technology change.
From EXL to Hexaware
Jetley joins Hexaware from EXL, where he currently serves as President and leads the company's Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences businesses.
Prior to that role, he was President and head of EXL Analytics, where he built and led capabilities across advanced analytics, AI services and enterprise data management.
Jetley joined EXL in 2006 through its acquisition of Inductis, an analytics consulting firm where he was a partner. During his two decades at EXL, he held leadership responsibilities across corporate strategy, strategic partnerships and innovation, while also leading several acquisitions.
A leadership transition for Hexaware
Jetley’s appointment follows a 12-year tenure for R. Srikrishna, also known as Keech, who will step down as CEO and from the Hexaware Board on October 28.
Srikrishna will remain with the company as Senior Advisor to support a smooth transition. Under his leadership, Hexaware has built a foundation around digital and IT services while expanding its AI capabilities.
The transition comes at a time when Hexaware is positioning AI as a central part of its services strategy.
Scaling an AI-led services model
As CEO, Jetley will focus on accelerating Hexaware’s growth and scaling its AI-led services model globally.
His background across data, analytics, AI and enterprise transformation aligns closely with the direction of the company as it expands its AI capabilities and works with enterprises navigating technology transformation.
Hexaware has described itself as an AI-first digital and IT services company, with offerings spanning digital and software, data and analytics, cloud, enterprise platforms, business process services and artificial intelligence.
AI and enterprise transformation at the center
The technology services industry is undergoing a structural shift as enterprises move from experimentation with generative AI toward broader deployment and operational adoption.
For Hexaware, that creates an opportunity to combine its existing technology and business process capabilities with AI-led delivery models.
The company has recently expanded initiatives around enterprise AI, including its collaboration with upGrad Enterprise to support AI skilling, experimentation and enterprise transformation programs for clients globally.
Jetley’s experience building analytics and AI businesses gives him a background closely aligned with this changing market.
Building the next phase of growth
Hexaware Chairman Larry Quinlan said Jetley brings a proven ability to scale businesses, deepen enterprise relationships and build data and AI-led growth platforms.
Jetley said he sees an opportunity to help clients navigate the ongoing transformation while shaping Hexaware into a leading AI-led services company and creating business outcomes at scale.
The mandate therefore extends beyond technology adoption. It involves connecting AI capabilities with enterprise relationships, services delivery and new growth opportunities.
A new chapter for Hexaware
Jetley will formally take over as CEO on October 28, 2026, giving the company and its leadership team a defined transition period.
The succession comes as Hexaware continues to build around AI-led services, enterprise transformation and its broader technology portfolio.
With Jetley bringing decades of experience across data, AI, analytics and business transformation, his appointment signals Hexaware’s intent to make those capabilities increasingly central to its next phase of global growth.
