Gaurav Gupta to Assume EVP and Chief Information & Digital Officer Role at Merck

Merck has appointed Gaurav Gupta as Executive Vice President and Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO). He joined the company this week and will officially assume the role on September 1, succeeding Dave Williams, who is preparing to retire after leading the company's digital transformation initiatives.
In his new position, Gaurav will oversee Merck's global information technology, digital transformation, data, and artificial intelligence strategy, supporting the company's mission to advance healthcare innovation.
