Logitech is increasing investments in research and development, marketing, and AI-enabled products as the company looks to accelerate growth across gaming, enterprise technology, and intelligent device categories.

CEO Hanneke Faber said the company plans to raise spending on product development and brand building despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty and logistical disruptions impacting global supply chains.

According to Reuters, Logitech expects research and development spending to remain around 6% of sales while marketing investments are also set to increase from last year’s levels. The company intends to keep overall operating expenses near the upper end of its long-term target range as it prioritizes innovation and market expansion.

The strategy reflects Logitech’s growing focus on AI-powered devices and intelligent workplace tools. The company has increasingly integrated AI features into products spanning video collaboration, productivity peripherals, and gaming hardware as enterprises and consumers adopt more AI-native workflows.

Gaming continues to remain a major growth area for Logitech, with the company citing resilient consumer demand and rising engagement among younger audiences. At the same time, Logitech is expanding efforts to strengthen its position among enterprise customers and sectors such as healthcare, education, and government.

The company’s latest investment push comes after a strong financial year in which Logitech reported higher-than-expected quarterly results driven by growth in gaming accessories and AI-enhanced video collaboration products.

Faber noted that AI is reshaping how technology companies innovate and develop products, adding that Logitech’s strong financial position gives the company flexibility to increase strategic investments while navigating global uncertainty.

Despite geopolitical and supply chain challenges affecting shipments across parts of the Middle East and Africa, Logitech said underlying customer demand remains stable. The company expects continued momentum across both consumer and business segments in the coming quarters.

The announcement highlights a broader shift across the hardware and enterprise technology sector, where AI-enabled devices, intelligent collaboration tools, and productivity-focused ecosystems are becoming increasingly important competitive differentiators.
