Apple has confirmed that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 8 to June 12, continuing its hybrid format with a primarily online experience and a limited in-person event at Apple Park.

The conference will open with a keynote on June 8, where the company is expected to outline updates across its software ecosystem, including iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and other platforms.

WWDC remains Apple’s primary stage for introducing new developer tools, frameworks, and platform capabilities. This year’s edition is expected to place a stronger emphasis on artificial intelligence, as the company looks to advance its position in an increasingly competitive AI landscape.

Developers will have access to more than 100 sessions, along with group labs and one-on-one interactions with Apple engineers, reflecting the company’s continued focus on its developer ecosystem.

AI is expected to be a central theme, with updates likely across Apple’s “Apple Intelligence” stack, including enhancements to Siri and deeper integration of generative AI into core applications.

From an AI and martech perspective, WWDC 2026 will serve as a key indicator of how Apple plans to embed AI into its platform layer. Unlike competitors focused on standalone AI products, Apple’s strategy is increasingly centered on integrating intelligence directly into user workflows and developer environments.

The event is also expected to influence how brands and developers build for Apple’s ecosystem, particularly as AI-driven features reshape user interaction, personalization, and app experiences.
