Stripe has announced the appointment of Tyler Bryson as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), marking a significant leadership transition as the company continues to scale its global payments and financial infrastructure platform.
Tyler steps into the role at a time when the payments landscape is undergoing rapid transformation, fueled by advancements in artificial intelligence, emerging payment technologies, and the rise of globally connected digital businesses. In his new position, he will oversee Stripe's global revenue organization and help drive growth across the company's expanding customer base.
Reflecting on his appointment, Tyler highlighted the scale of opportunity ahead for Stripe and its customers. Following recent engagements with businesses across Europe, he noted the accelerating pace of change in global commerce, where companies are increasingly operating across borders from inception and leveraging AI-powered technologies to reach customers worldwide.
Stripe has established itself as one of the world's leading financial technology companies, processing approximately $1.9 trillion in total payment volume over the past year. The platform supports more than five million businesses directly and through partners, including a significant share of major global enterprises and leading artificial intelligence companies.
Tyler succeeds Eileen O'Mara, who will transition into the role of Vice Chair. In her new position, O'Mara will focus on representing Stripe with business, government, and policy leaders globally. Bryson acknowledged her contributions in building Stripe's go-to-market organization, global teams, and customer relationships that have helped drive the company's continued growth.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Tyler will focus on supporting businesses of all sizes—from entrepreneurs and startups to multinational enterprises—ensuring they can effectively leverage Stripe's technology to scale and compete in an increasingly digital economy.
