KnowBe4 has appointed Richard Hudson as Vice President, Latin America, bringing an experienced enterprise technology sales leader into a role focused on building the company's regional structure and expanding its presence across Latin America.
Richard announced the move as a new chapter focused on building and scaling KnowBe4's business across LATAM. His mandate includes strengthening the regional go-to-market strategy, developing the team and structure, and pursuing the opportunity he sees across the market.
Building KnowBe4's LATAM Business
Richard's new role gives him responsibility for the next phase of KnowBe4's business development across Latin America.
In announcing the appointment, he highlighted three immediate priorities: building and scaling the regional structure, strengthening the company's go-to-market strategy and expanding its presence across the region.
That makes the role broader than a conventional sales leadership position, with a focus on establishing the people, structure and commercial approach needed to support regional growth.
A Career in Enterprise Technology Sales
Richard brings a long background in enterprise technology sales to KnowBe4.
His LinkedIn profile shows more than a decade with DocuSign, following an earlier period at Oracle. His career has therefore spanned major enterprise technology environments, giving him experience working with organisations as they adopt technology across different markets and business needs.
That background provides a foundation for his new remit, particularly as KnowBe4 looks to build a larger regional presence across LATAM.
From DocuSign to Cybersecurity
The move also represents a transition from enterprise digital agreement technology into cybersecurity.
KnowBe4 operates in the security awareness and human risk management space, helping organisations address the role people play in cybersecurity through security awareness training, simulated phishing and related capabilities.
For Richard, the move brings his enterprise commercial experience into a cybersecurity market where organisations across Latin America continue to face evolving security risks and increasingly complex technology environments.

A central part of Richard's mandate will be developing KnowBe4's LATAM go-to-market structure.

In his announcement, he referenced KnowBe4's recognition as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Email Security Platforms, noting that it was the second consecutive year the company received that recognition.
The Gartner positioning is particularly relevant to the timing of his move as KnowBe4 continues to develop its cybersecurity offering and regional presence. The recognition should be understood as Gartner's assessment, rather than an independent ranking by KARV.
