Publicis is forecasting its seventh consecutive year of outperformance, driven by a sustained shift toward artificial intelligence and data-led services that are reshaping its core business model.

The company expects organic growth of 4% to 5% in 2026, following a strong 2025 where it exceeded expectations with 5.6% annual growth and 5.9% growth in the fourth quarter.

At the center of this momentum is a long-term investment strategy focused on technology. Publicis has committed around €14 billion to data and AI capabilities, positioning itself ahead of competitors that have largely prioritized shareholder returns over platform development.

This shift is redefining the company’s role in the market. Rather than operating purely as an advertising holding company, Publicis is increasingly positioning itself closer to a technology and consulting partner, offering AI-powered services that extend across the full marketing and business lifecycle.

The approach is also reflected in its client growth. Publicis secured major accounts in 2025, including Coca-Cola, PayPal, LinkedIn, and Vodafone, while maintaining a 98% retention rate among its top 100 clients.

Looking ahead, the company has earmarked approximately €900 million for acquisitions in AI and data, reinforcing its strategy of building a more integrated, technology-first platform.

At a broader level, Publicis’ trajectory highlights a structural shift in the advertising industry. Growth is no longer being driven by media buying scale alone, but by the ability to combine data, AI, and execution into a unified system.

For the industry, the implication is clear: agencies are evolving into platforms and those that successfully integrate technology into their core offering are setting the pace for what comes next.
