Humanoid Raises $152 Million Series A at $1.35 Billion Valuation to Accelerate Industrial Robotics

Humanoid, a UK-based AI and robotics company focused on industrial humanoid robots, has raised $152 million in Series A funding at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation, becoming Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn. The milestone positions the company among the fastest-growing players in the global Physical AI and robotics industry.

The funding brings Humanoid's total capital raised to $270 million and will support the company's next phase of product development, commercial expansion, and AI innovation.

Funding Backed by Strategic Industry Investors

The Series A round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures. According to the company, the investment highlights growing confidence that Europe can build globally competitive companies in the rapidly evolving humanoid robotics sector.

Scaling AI-Powered Industrial Robots

Humanoid plans to use the new capital to:

  • Develop and launch its next-generation humanoid robotics platform.
  • Expand commercial deployments across manufacturing, logistics, retail, and other industrial sectors.
  • Begin large-scale deployment of beta robots during the fourth quarter of 2026.
  • Start mass manufacturing of its wheeled humanoid robots.
  • Accelerate development of KinetIQ, the company's proprietary AI platform designed to enable robots to understand, reason, and perform complex physical tasks.

Building Strategic Industrial Partnerships

Humanoid has already established partnerships with several global technology and industrial companies, including SAP, NVIDIA, Bosch, and Siemens. The company also recently announced a large-scale commercial agreement with Schaeffler to deploy thousands of humanoid robots across manufacturing environments.

Commenting on the milestone, Artem Sokolov, Founder and CEO of Humanoid, said the company has evolved from an early-stage concept to Europe's first dedicated humanoid robotics unicorn in just two years, adding that the new funding will accelerate the commercialization of humanoid robots for industrial applications.

Strengthening Europe's Position in Physical AI

Humanoid believes the investment marks an important moment for Europe's technology ecosystem as the region seeks to establish itself alongside the United States and China in advanced robotics and Physical AI.

Founded in 2024, the company employs more than 250 engineers and researchers across offices in London, Boston, Vancouver, and San Diego, focusing on commercially scalable humanoid robots designed to address labor shortages and improve productivity across industrial sectors.
