Accenture appoints Daniel Reisenauer as Managing Director for CEE

Accenture has appointed Daniel Reisenauer as Managing Director for the Central and Eastern Europe region, marking his return to the company after more than six years at Visma.

Daniel brings more than two decades of experience across technology, finance, HR solutions, commercial leadership and organisational transformation. His most recent role at Visma included responsibility for regional technology competence centres across Romania and Portugal, supporting more than 600 professionals working on AI-powered platforms.

His return to Accenture comes as organisations across Europe move beyond experimentation with AI and focus increasingly on how the technology can reshape work, decision-making and business operations.

Returning to Accenture

Daniel described his move as a return to Accenture and a new chapter focused on helping organisations rethink how work gets done and how decisions are made.

The move brings him back to a company where reinvention remains a central part of its client proposition. Accenture currently positions itself as a reinvention partner for organisations navigating technology, AI and broader business transformation.

For Daniel, the opportunity comes at a time when the gap between AI adoption and realised business value is becoming an increasingly important issue for enterprise leaders.

Leading Across Central and Eastern Europe

As Managing Director for CEE, Daniel will work with clients, partners and teams across the region as organisations consider how AI and emerging technologies can be embedded into their operating models.

Central and Eastern Europe forms part of Accenture's broader European footprint, where the company operates across 27 countries and has around 100,000 professionals. Accenture describes Europe as a key market for technology-led reinvention, with capabilities spanning cloud, cybersecurity, data and AI.

Daniel's regional mandate places him close to organisations working through these changes and looking to connect technology investments with measurable business outcomes.

From AI Adoption to Business Value

A central theme in Daniel's return is the uneven distribution of value from AI.

While AI is now present across many organisations, adoption alone does not guarantee meaningful business impact. Companies increasingly need to rethink processes, decision-making, workforce capabilities and operating models to capture value from the technology.

Accenture's own research points to a similar shift, noting that AI investment continues while many organisations remain focused on translating adoption into productivity, growth and measurable business value.

Daniel's experience at Visma adds relevant perspective to that challenge. His previous responsibilities included AI-first strategies and technology operations across multiple European markets, with more than 600 professionals supporting AI-powered Finance and HR platforms.

Building the Next Phase of Reinvention

Daniel said the work of helping organisations reinvent how they operate is what he cares about most, making the move back to Accenture closely aligned with the company's current focus.

Accenture has continued to expand its AI capabilities and partnerships as enterprises look to scale AI beyond individual use cases. In September 2026, the company and Google Cloud launched the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group, including a planned 1,000-person forward-deployed engineering workforce focused on accelerating AI value for enterprises.

For Daniel, the return creates an opportunity to bring his recent experience in AI-led organisational transformation back into Accenture's work with clients across CEE.

A New Chapter in CEE

Daniel thanked the colleagues who helped make his return possible and noted the warm welcome he has received since joining.

His appointment adds experienced technology and transformation leadership to Accenture's CEE operations at a time when regional businesses are assessing not simply where AI can be applied, but how it can change the way organisations operate.
