Hitachi has appointed Sameer Tikoo as Chief Growth Officer for Hitachi Americas, expanding his leadership responsibilities after an 18-year career with GlobalLogic.

As Chief Growth Officer, Sameer will lead strategic growth initiatives across Hitachi's businesses in the Americas, helping accelerate business expansion, strengthen customer relationships, and identify new market opportunities.

His appointment follows a long tenure at GlobalLogic, where he held leadership positions spanning program management, account management, sales, and business leadership. During that time, he helped establish and grow the company's Communications, Network, and Cybersecurity business while contributing to significant business expansion.

The move reflects Hitachi's continued focus on strengthening its leadership team to support long-term growth across the region.
