Cisco has appointed Kara Sakuda Kharrat as Vice President of CEO Communications, bringing an experienced corporate communications leader back to the technology sector.

Kara shared the move on LinkedIn, describing the transition as a return to the technology industry after spending much of her career in the sector. Bringing Cross-Industry Communications Experience

Before joining Cisco, Kara held senior communications leadership roles spanning technology and the automotive industry, including experience with HP and General Motors.

Her time at HP gave her experience navigating communications within a global technology organization, while her work at General Motors added exposure to communications in a large, globally recognized automotive business undergoing significant technological and organizational change.
