Instacart Acquires Instaleap to Accelerate Global Expansion of Its Enterprise Platform

Article content
Instacart has acquired Instaleap, a grocery technology platform focused on fulfillment and enablement solutions, as part of its broader push to expand its enterprise offerings beyond North America.
The deal brings Instaleap’s technology stack and international retailer network into Instacart’s ecosystem, strengthening its ability to support grocery retailers across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Instaleap’s platform is designed to help retailers manage online grocery operations, including marketplace integrations and fulfillment capabilities. By integrating these capabilities, Instacart is positioning its enterprise platform as a more comprehensive solution for retailers navigating omnichannel demand.
The acquisition also adds access to a network of nearly 100 retail partners outside North America, enabling Instacart to scale its international presence more rapidly without building infrastructure from scratch.
This move reflects a growing focus on enterprise-led expansion, where technology platforms are increasingly becoming the backbone of global retail operations. Rather than competing solely in consumer delivery, Instacart is strengthening its role as a technology provider powering digital grocery ecosystems worldwide.
