Exadel Acquires Tangent to Expand AI-Powered Digital Experience Capabilities

Exadel has acquired UK-based digital consultancy Tangent in a strategic move aimed at expanding its AI-powered digital experience and enterprise transformation capabilities.

The acquisition combines Exadel’s engineering, AI, and enterprise technology expertise with Tangent’s strengths in digital experience consulting, product design, MarTech engineering, and customer journey transformation.

Founded in 2001, Tangent has built a strong reputation for delivering digital experience solutions for enterprise clients including SAP, Vodafone, New Balance, and IWG. Under the new structure, Tangent will continue operating under its existing brand, with CEO Leigh Gammons moving into a Managing Director & Senior Vice President role within Exadel.

The deal reflects a broader shift across the enterprise technology landscape, where organizations are increasingly seeking integrated partners capable of combining AI, customer experience, data, and engineering into unified transformation programs.

According to Exadel COO James Dalziel, customer expectations around AI-driven experiences are evolving rapidly, making it increasingly important for enterprises to continuously optimize and scale digital experiences through AI-enabled systems.

The acquisition also significantly expands Exadel’s European footprint and consulting-led digital transformation capabilities. Together, both companies plan to launch a joint AI accelerator program designed to help enterprises move AI initiatives from experimentation into scalable real-world deployment.

As AI adoption accelerates globally, enterprise service providers are increasingly repositioning themselves around end-to-end transformation models that connect strategy, design, engineering, data, and operational execution under a single ecosystem.
