VerSe Innovation has appointed Prasanna Prasad as its Chief Product and Technology Officer, strengthening its focus on artificial intelligence-led platform development.
In this role, Prasad will oversee engineering, product, and data science functions, with a mandate to accelerate AI adoption across VerSe’s portfolio, which includes platforms like Dailyhunt and Josh.
He joins from Verve Group Inc., where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product and AI, leading global teams and driving AI-led platform innovation.
At VerSe, his focus will center on building a unified AI layer across the company’s ecosystem. This includes improving content personalisation, strengthening creator tools, and enhancing advertising efficiency through automation and agentic AI systems.
The appointment reflects VerSe’s broader push to integrate AI deeper into its business model, particularly across content discovery and monetisation. The company is positioning AI as a core driver of engagement, performance, and scalability across its platforms.
From a leadership perspective, the move highlights how digital media companies are increasingly aligning product and technology functions under a unified AI strategy. As platforms evolve, the ability to translate data and intelligence into real-time user experiences and advertising outcomes is becoming a key differentiator.
For the martech ecosystem, the development underscores a shift toward AI-native platforms where personalisation, creator ecosystems, and monetisation are tightly integrated through automation and data-driven decision-making.
