Sarah Wilson Takes on a New Leadership Role at McLaren Racing
McLaren Racing has appointed Sarah Wilson as Director, MarCom Operations & Transformation, marking a new chapter in her career after more than six years supporting the organization's Marketing & Commercial team through People leadership.
The appointment represents a transition from HR into a newly created operational leadership role, where Sarah will help strengthen the foundations of McLaren Racing's marketing and commercial organization as it continues to evolve.
From People Leadership to Business Transformation
Sarah has spent the majority of her career in HR and People leadership, partnering closely with teams to drive organizational development and talent strategy. During her six-and-a-half years at McLaren Racing, she worked alongside the Marketing & Commercial function, building a deep understanding of its priorities, challenges, and long-term ambitions.
Her move into operations reflects the growing importance of cross-functional leadership as organizations increasingly align people, processes, and technology to support business growth.
Building a New Operations Function
As Director, MarCom Operations & Transformation, Wilson will establish and lead a dedicated operations team focused on enabling the Marketing & Commercial organization to scale effectively.
