The Coca-Cola Company has appointed Robert A. Roberts as Director, Consumer Communications, bringing nine years of agency-side experience to its consumer communications organization.

Robert shared the move on LinkedIn, describing the appointment as the next chapter of his career and highlighting the opportunity to work with one of the world's most recognizable brands.

Leading Sports and Entertainment Communications

In his new role, Robert will lead sports and entertainment campaigns across North America, working across some of Coca-Cola's most prominent consumer partnerships and activations.

His mandate will bring together consumer communications, sports, entertainment and brand storytelling, helping translate Coca-Cola's partnerships into campaigns and experiences that connect with audiences across the region.

Bringing Agency Experience In-House

Robert joins Coca-Cola after nine years on the agency side, bringing experience in developing and executing communications programs for brands and navigating the fast-moving intersection of culture, entertainment and consumer engagement.

The move represents a transition from agency leadership into an in-house role with direct responsibility for communications at one of the world's most established consumer brands.
