In his new role, Pangal will oversee the bank’s technology strategy, including core banking systems, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital initiatives. His mandate includes aligning technology investments with business priorities while improving operational efficiency and scalability across retail and corporate banking.

Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, he held senior leadership roles at global institutions such as HSBC, Standard Chartered, and ANZ, where he led large-scale transformation programs spanning core banking modernization, digital enablement, and risk systems.
His appointment comes as the bank continues to invest in digital capabilities, with a focus on strengthening data platforms, improving customer experience, and building resilient technology infrastructure.
