Colgate-Palmolive has appointed Ram Raghavan as its new Chief Marketing Officer, entrusting the seasoned marketing executive with leading the company's global marketing organization and some of the world's most recognized consumer brands.
Sharing the news, Ram expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to step into the role, reflecting on a career that has taken him across Asia Pacific, North America, and Latin America. Most recently, he led Colgate-Palmolive's Enterprise Oral Care division, where he gained firsthand experience driving growth across a key segment of the business.
Throughout his career, Ram has witnessed the power of strong brands in delivering both immediate business impact and long-term value creation. His appointment comes at a time when consumer goods companies are increasingly focused on balancing brand building, digital transformation, data-driven marketing, and evolving consumer expectations.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Ram will oversee an extensive portfolio of globally recognized brands that touch the lives of consumers and their pets every day. The portfolio includes Colgate, one of the most penetrated brands in the world, alongside household names such as Hill's Pet Nutrition, Palmolive, elmex, Suavitel, Fabuloso, and EltaMD.
