Taco Bell has appointed Priscila Hammett as Chief Marketing Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean, adding experienced consumer marketing leadership as the brand continues to strengthen its presence across international markets.
Priscila announced the move on LinkedIn, describing the opportunity as one she is particularly honored by given her connection to the region. She also highlighted Taco Bell's mission to inspire and enable people to "Live Más," noting how closely it aligns with her own values.
A Consumer Marketing Career Across Leading Brands
Priscila brings a strong background in brand management, customer marketing, foodservice and consumer engagement, with experience across several major global companies.
Most recently, she spent more than two years at The Coca-Cola Company, where she served as Director, Customer Marketing - Foodservice and On-Premise. She previously held the role of Senior Marketing Manager for Foodservice & On-Premise, working across customer-focused marketing within the food and beverage sector.
Before Coca-Cola, Priscila spent more than two years at Yum! Brands, where she held marketing leadership roles with both Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill.
At The Habit Burger Grill, she led marketing calendar strategy, product innovation and national product launches. Earlier, as Senior Brand Manager at Taco Bell, she was responsible for marketing strategy for the brand's breakfast business, including product positioning, campaign development and launches.
Her earlier career also includes experience at The Kraft Heinz Company, where she served as Senior Associate Brand Manager for Planters.
Taking on a Broader Regional Mandate
Priscila now takes on a significantly broader leadership role as Taco Bell's CMO for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The position will require a balance between Taco Bell's recognizable global brand identity and the distinct consumer preferences, cultures and market dynamics across the region.
Her background across foodservice, customer marketing and brand management gives her experience at the intersection of consumer insight, commercial strategy and brand growth, all areas that will be important as Taco Bell continues developing its regional presence.
Building Brand Relevance Across Markets
For global consumer brands, international growth increasingly depends on the ability to maintain a consistent brand proposition while making marketing locally relevant.
Priscila's experience across Taco Bell, Coca-Cola, The Habit Burger Grill and Kraft Heinz gives her exposure to different dimensions of this challenge, from product launches and brand positioning to customer marketing and foodservice.
At Taco Bell, her focus will now extend across Latin America and the Caribbean, creating an opportunity to apply that experience across a much broader geographic and consumer landscape.
A New Chapter With a Familiar Brand
Priscila's appointment also brings an interesting connection to her earlier career. She previously held brand management roles at Taco Bell under Yum! Brands before moving into broader marketing leadership positions.
She now joins Taco Bell in a senior regional leadership capacity, bringing the experience she has gained across Coca-Cola, Yum! Brands and Kraft Heinz into a new mandate focused on the brand's growth across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Looking Ahead
As Taco Bell continues to build its international footprint, regional marketing leadership will play an important role in translating the brand's distinctive personality into locally relevant consumer experiences.
With Priscila Hammett stepping into the CMO role for Latin America and the Caribbean, Taco Bell adds a marketing leader with deep experience across consumer brands, foodservice and customer marketing to help shape its next phase of regional growth.
