The appointment also marks a return to OpenText for Bob, bringing together years of experience across enterprise technology, telecommunications, AI, and industry marketing.

Reflecting on his career, he highlighted his previous tenure at OpenText, where he focused on IoT, information management, cybersecurity, and industry solution marketing. He also pointed to his experience at Verizon, where he gained deep insight into telecommunications, network infrastructure, connected technologies, and enterprise customer operations.
Most recently, Bob worked at Selector, helping shape the company's narrative around AI-powered network operations, observability, developer engagement, and intelligent infrastructure management.
