Centre for Sight has promoted Kaustav Chatterjee to Vice President – Supply Chain, expanding his responsibilities across the organization's 95 locations and multiple teams.

Kaustav, an IIM Calcutta alumnus and supply-chain professional, has experience across healthcare, retail and technology. He joined Centre for Sight in 2023 and has since been involved in the organization's supply-chain operations.

Expanded Supply Chain Mandate

In his new role, Kaustav will focus on strengthening Centre for Sight's supply-chain capabilities as the organization continues to operate across a growing network of locations.

His mandate includes building a more connected and data-led supply chain supported by automation, predictive planning and greater end-to-end visibility. Inventory intelligence and stronger supplier ecosystems will also form part of the transformation agenda.

The focus is on creating a supply-chain function that can support greater agility, operational efficiency and resilience while providing the infrastructure required to scale across the organization's network.

Technology and Data at the Core

For healthcare organizations operating across multiple locations, supply-chain visibility and inventory management can have a direct impact on operational continuity. Kaustav's expanded remit places technology and data at the center of Centre for Sight's approach to supply-chain management.

Kaustav brings cross-sector experience spanning healthcare, retail and technology. Before joining Centre for Sight, he worked with organizations including Cognizant, Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital and Reliance Vision Express.

His experience across supply-chain and operational environments provides a foundation for his expanded leadership role at Centre for Sight.
