Costin Mihaila has joined Mediaplus Group as Global Chief Market Officer, stepping into a newly created leadership role as the company strengthens collaboration across international markets and expands its global client delivery model.

Costin brings more than three decades of global media and marketing leadership experience spanning agency networks, international client strategy, and brand-side marketing leadership.

Most recently, he held senior client leadership roles at EssenceMediacom and WPP, building on an extensive tenure at MediaCom across EMEA and global markets. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping organizations navigate international growth, cross-market collaboration, and integrated media strategy.

Earlier in his career, Costin also gained brand-side leadership experience at The Coca-Cola Company, an experience that helped shape his approach to strategic marketing, client partnership, and business growth from both agency and enterprise perspectives.

His appointment comes at a time when global brands increasingly expect agency partners to deliver connected international capabilities while maintaining strong local expertise and market understanding.
