LiveKit has appointed Christian Yarbrough as GTM Leader for the East Coast, marking a new chapter for the technology executive after 7.5 years at Snowflake.
Christian brings extensive experience working with enterprise customers, partners and teams through periods of rapid technology adoption and business growth. His move comes as LiveKit expands its position in the emerging market for real-time AI infrastructure.
Bringing Enterprise GTM Experience to LiveKit
In his new role, Christian will focus on LiveKit's go-to-market efforts across the East Coast, helping organizations understand and adopt the company's real-time infrastructure technology.
His experience at Snowflake included leading teams and working closely with customers and partners as cloud data infrastructure became an increasingly important part of enterprise technology strategies.
The move gives Christian an opportunity to apply that experience to a different layer of the technology stack, as organizations begin exploring real-time voice and agentic experiences powered by AI.
Building the Infrastructure for Real-Time AI
LiveKit is developing infrastructure designed to support real-time applications involving voice, video and AI agents.
The company provides an open-source real-time communications platform and cloud infrastructure that developers can use to build applications involving conversational AI, voice agents and other interactive experiences.
As AI applications move beyond text-based interactions toward systems that can listen, respond and act in real time, the underlying infrastructure becomes increasingly important to the user experience.
Christian's new mandate comes against this backdrop, with LiveKit looking to expand adoption of its technology among businesses building the next generation of AI-powered applications.
From Snowflake to a New AI Infrastructure Opportunity
Reflecting on his departure from Snowflake, Christian described his 7.5-year tenure as a "life-changing" chapter of his career.
He thanked the colleagues, customers, partners and leaders who shaped his experience at the company, including Ryan Hayburn, Josh Sullivan, John Gallaro, Adrian Tarquinio, Brian Daniels, Paul McGrath, Vince T., Michael Keaveney, Mark Fleming, Jon Beaulier, John Sapone and Chris Degnan.
Christian also credited his friend Ryan Barry with encouraging him to join Snowflake years earlier, describing the move as taking a seat on the "rocket-ship."
A Familiar Team and a New Challenge
At LiveKit, Christian will reconnect with Tom Davies and Megan Barros while working alongside the broader leadership team.
He also thanked Russ d'Sa and David Zhao for their confidence in him as he takes on the new role.
The combination of an established enterprise GTM background and LiveKit's focus on real-time AI infrastructure positions Christian to help the company translate a rapidly developing technology category into broader enterprise adoption across the East Coast.
Looking Ahead
The emergence of voice AI, agentic AI and physical AI is creating new requirements for real-time infrastructure, from low-latency communications to reliable systems capable of supporting AI agents at scale.
With Christian joining its GTM organization, LiveKit is adding enterprise go-to-market experience as it works to expand its reach and help more organizations build real-time AI applications.
