PwC India has appointed Akshita Summan as Director, marking her return to the firm with experience spanning People and Organisation consulting, people strategy, leadership development, performance management, capability building, and organisational transformation.

Akshita joins PwC India after more than two years at PepsiCo, where she worked across People Strategy, Capability and Performance Management, and Capability Development and Inclusion. Her experience also includes her earlier tenure with PwC and work in EY's People Advisory Services.

Returning to PwC India

Akshita's return to PwC brings her back to a firm where she previously worked in People and Organisation consulting, including as a Senior Consultant. Her earlier consulting experience involved areas such as performance management and broader people transformation.

Her experience since then has added an industry perspective, particularly through her work at PepsiCo on people strategy, capability development and performance management.

Focus on People and Organisation Transformation

In her new role, Akshita will contribute to PwC India's People and Organisation consulting practice, drawing on her experience in leadership development, organisational effectiveness, performance management, AI capability building, and culture and change.

Her work has increasingly intersected with the changing nature of work and AI adoption. At PepsiCo, she was involved in initiatives focused on AI enablement and building future-ready capabilities, giving her experience at the intersection of people strategy, technology and workforce transformation.

She also brings cross-sector consulting experience spanning industries including FMCG, automotive, IT, pharmaceuticals, metals and mining, and the public sector.

Looking Ahead

Akshita's return to PwC India brings together consulting experience with hands-on corporate leadership in people strategy and capability building.

As organisations rethink workforce models, leadership capabilities and the skills required to operate alongside AI, her experience across organisational transformation, people strategy and AI capability development positions her to contribute to PwC India's work with clients navigating these changes.
