AbsenceSoft has promoted Kia Brenes to Vice President, Product Marketing & Brand, expanding her leadership role as the company continues to strengthen its go-to-market strategy and brand presence.

In her new position, Kia will oversee product marketing, brand, and content, bringing together the company's messaging, positioning, and storytelling under a unified leadership structure.

Expanding Marketing Leadership

Announcing her promotion on LinkedIn, Kia reflected on her four-year journey with AbsenceSoft, during which she helped establish the company's product marketing function from the ground up.

Joining as a one-person product marketing team, she played a key role in building the function, developing a dedicated team, launching The LeaveLab, strengthening the company's positioning and messaging strategy, and contributing to a period in which the business more than doubled in size.

Unifying Product Marketing and Brand

As Vice President, Product Marketing & Brand, Kia will now lead a broader portfolio that includes brand and content alongside product marketing.
