Vectorial secures $3M seed funding to bring human behaviour simulation into product development

Article content
AI startup Vectorial has raised $3 million in seed funding to expand its human behaviour simulation platform, which helps businesses test how people may respond to products, digital experiences and marketing campaigns before launch.
The round was jointly led by SenseAI Ventures and Smilegate Investment, with participation from Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Stanford GSB Fund, Dent Capital, Motus Ventures, SUM Ventures and angel investors with product leadership experience at Meta, Shopify and Mastercard.
Founded by Taranveer Singh, Rahul Garg and Jasmine Kaur, Vectorial aims to bring simulated customer feedback into everyday product development, helping companies evaluate ideas earlier rather than relying solely on traditional research methods.
Simulating customer behaviour before launch
Vectorial’s platform is powered by SAPIENS, its proprietary behaviour model, which uses socio-demographic, psychographic and behavioural data to simulate how target audiences might respond to products, features, customer journeys, marketing messages and AI-powered experiences.
The company says it has modelled more than 2.5 million people and conducted over 30,000 simulations to date. Its platform is designed to help product, design and marketing teams test different scenarios quickly, identify potential friction points and refine decisions before exposing changes to real customers.
Vectorial reports that its simulations have reproduced findings from previous user studies with more than 85% accuracy. These are company-reported results, and the predictive value of simulations will depend on the use case, data quality and validation against real-world behaviour.
Bringing research into everyday decisions
Traditional consumer research can take days or weeks to complete, which can make it difficult to keep pace with increasingly rapid product development. Vectorial is positioning behaviour simulation as a way to make customer understanding available throughout the development cycle, rather than limiting research to a small number of major decisions.
The company says customers run around 600 simulations per month, equivalent to approximately 40 user studies, enabling teams to conduct substantially more research than before. Its customer base spans sectors including healthcare, gaming and e-commerce, with companies such as boAt, GoodRx, Suki AI, Everkind and Concrete Software among those named by the startup.
Funding to expand behavioural data and SAPIENS
Vectorial plans to use the new capital to expand its behavioural datasets through additional data partnerships and advance SAPIENS 2.0. Its broader ambition is to make behaviour simulation a standard part of product development, much as simulation is already used in areas such as aerospace and semiconductor design.
The funding comes as AI makes software and digital product development faster, increasing the pressure on businesses to validate ideas and understand customers just as quickly. Vectorial is betting that grounded behavioural simulation can help close that gap, while real-user research remains important for validating decisions and understanding actual customer outcomes.
About Vectorial
Vectorial is an AI startup developing human behaviour simulation technology for product, design and marketing teams. Its platform uses its proprietary SAPIENS behaviour model to simulate target audiences and evaluate products, digital experiences, marketing campaigns and AI applications before they reach real users.
