Rashi Semiconductor Solutions showcases embedded and semiconductor technologies at Electronica India 2026

Article content
Rashi Semiconductor Solutions Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rashi Peripherals Limited, is showcasing its embedded and semiconductor capabilities at Electronica India 2026, taking place from September 16 to 18 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru. The event is the Bengaluru edition of Electronica India's 2026 programme.
The company is presenting technologies developed in-house for applications spanning smart cities, industrial automation, robotics, security and surveillance, automotive and related sectors.
Showcasing AI Edge and Embedded Technologies
Rashi Semiconductor Solutions is highlighting a range of technology areas at the exhibition, including:
- AI Edge Solutions
- Industrial Automation
- Robotics
- Security and Surveillance
- Memory and Storage Solutions
The showcase reflects Rashi Peripherals' focus on expanding its embedded and semiconductor business through localized engineering, reference-solution development, technical support and value-added services.
The Bengaluru event also brings together companies and industry stakeholders across India's electronics ecosystem, with Electronica India positioning the exhibition as a platform for electronics manufacturing, sourcing and technology partnerships.
Restar Joint Venture Adds Strategic Context
Rashi Semiconductor Solutions' participation comes ahead of the planned launch of its joint venture with Restar Corporation, a Japanese technology and electronics company.
Announced in August 2026, the joint venture is scheduled to commence operations in October. Under the proposed structure, Rashi Peripherals will hold a 74% stake, while Restar Corporation will hold 26%.
Rashi Peripherals plans to transfer its semiconductor business division to Rashi Semiconductor Solutions, along with its Singapore-based step-down subsidiary.
Combining Global Semiconductor Expertise With Local Engineering
The partnership is intended to combine Restar's semiconductor technology expertise, supplier relationships and international presence with Rashi Peripherals' distribution network, customer base and market execution capabilities in India.
The joint venture will focus in part on advanced image sensing solutions for industrial and automotive applications, supported by localized engineering, design and technical services.
Its target segments include automotive Tier-1 suppliers, industrial robotics, electronics manufacturing services, electronics component manufacturing services, enterprise surveillance, machine vision cameras, audio-visual solutions and home appliances.
Restar's current business spans semiconductor and electronic component sales and technical support, LSI design and development, EMS and engineering and system integration solutions.
Building From Bengaluru's Embedded Engineering Base
Rashi Peripherals established its Embedded Lab in Bengaluru in May 2024 to support reference-solution development and shorten design cycles.
The lab provides capabilities across embedded hardware and software design, customer design reviews, board bring-up, demo preparation, PCB design and AI/ML application development.
The planned joint venture is expected to build on this foundation through Restar's product and design capabilities, supplier relationships and application expertise, alongside localized engineering and technical support.
Supporting India's Semiconductor Ecosystem
The combination of local engineering capabilities and international semiconductor expertise comes as India's electronics ecosystem continues to develop around manufacturing, design, components and supply-chain localization.
Electronica India's Bengaluru edition itself is focused on this broader ecosystem, with the 2026 programme including discussions around electronics manufacturing, robotics, automation, embedded systems, components and supply-chain development.
For Rashi Semiconductor Solutions, the exhibition provides a platform to demonstrate its current capabilities while positioning its upcoming Restar partnership within the company's broader semiconductor strategy.
Preparing for the Next Phase
Rajesh Goenka, Director & CEO, Rashi Peripherals Limited, said the company's participation demonstrates its growing capabilities in localized embedded and semiconductor technologies and its readiness to connect global semiconductor innovation with India's expanding manufacturing ecosystem.
With the Restar joint venture scheduled to begin operations in October, the company is preparing to combine its Indian market and engineering capabilities with Restar's global semiconductor ecosystem and technical expertise.
