Snowflake has raised its fiscal 2027 product revenue forecast while announcing a major five-year $6 billion infrastructure agreement with Amazon Web Services, signaling growing enterprise investment in artificial intelligence and cloud-based data platforms.

The company increased its fiscal 2027 product revenue outlook to $5.84 billion, up from the previously projected $5.66 billion, driven by stronger enterprise demand for AI applications, cloud migrations, and data workloads.

As part of the expanded collaboration, Snowflake will leverage AWS Graviton processors and AI infrastructure to help enterprises scale generative and agentic AI initiatives. The agreement also includes deeper integrations, expanded go-to-market initiatives through AWS Marketplace, and support for organizations moving AI projects from experimentation into production environments.

CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy said the upgraded outlook reflects continued strength in Snowflake’s core data platform business along with increasing adoption of its AI capabilities. The company has seen growing traction for products such as Cortex Code and Snowpark, which are helping organizations build and deploy AI-powered workloads more efficiently.

Snowflake also reported first-quarter revenue of $1.39 billion, surpassing analyst expectations and reinforcing investor confidence in the company’s AI-driven growth strategy. Following the announcement, Snowflake shares surged sharply in extended trading.

Industry analysts view the AWS partnership as a strategic move that positions Snowflake more deeply within enterprise AI transformation initiatives, particularly as businesses increasingly seek scalable, governed, and secure AI-ready data infrastructure.
