Vikash Agarwalla Named Head of Healthcare Practice at BCG India

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has appointed Vikash Agarwalla as Head of the Healthcare Practice at BCG India, adding a new chapter to his leadership journey within the firm.

Vikash, who serves as Managing Director & Partner at BCG, shared the transition with a focus on responsibility, client trust and the opportunity to build on the practice's existing foundation.

Building on a Strong Healthcare Practice

In his new role, Vikash will lead BCG India's Healthcare Practice, working with clients and colleagues across the healthcare ecosystem to address complex industry challenges and deliver measurable impact.

He acknowledged Priyanka, his predecessor, for the work she has done to build and strengthen the practice, describing the opportunity as one that comes with "big shoes to fill."

Vikash said his focus will be on building on that foundation with the same rigor and care while continuing to learn from clients and colleagues across the healthcare practice.

Vikash outlined three principles that will guide his approach to the role: trust over transactions, impact as the ultimate measure of success, and the broader goal of contributing to a healthier world.

He emphasized the importance of building long-term client relationships based on trust, rather than viewing engagements purely as transactions.
