Tony Marlow Joins Genius Sports as Chief Marketing Officer

Tony Marlow has joined Genius Sports as Chief Marketing Officer, taking on responsibility for global marketing, communications, and brand strategy as the company continues to expand its role across the live sports ecosystem.
In this role, Tony will focus on strengthening the company’s global positioning and go-to-market strategy, supporting growth as convergence across sports, media, betting, and advertising accelerates. His appointment comes at a time when real-time data and technology are playing an increasingly central role in driving fan engagement and commercial outcomes.
Tony brings extensive experience in building and scaling marketing functions across media, adtech, and data-driven platforms. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at LG Ad Solutions. Prior to that, he held CMO roles at Integral Ad Science and Data Axle.
Earlier in his career, Tony spent more than eight years at Yahoo, where he progressed from Director of Strategic Insights to Vice President and Head of B2B Marketing. He also held research leadership roles at Nielsen and began his career in strategy consulting at Jones Donald Strategy Partners.
Tony’s appointment reflects Genius Sports’ focus on scaling its platform and strengthening its global marketing capabilities as the intersection of data, media, and advertising continues to evolve. His experience across insights, adtech, and sports-adjacent media positions him to support the company’s next phase of growth in a rapidly changing landscape.
