Toby Jenner Elevated to Global President of Client Growth at WPP Media

Toby Jenner has been elevated to Global President of Client Growth at WPP Media, taking on a newly created WPP-wide leadership role focused on accelerating integrated client growth across the organization.
The appointment forms part of WPP’s broader Elevate28 strategy introduced under CEO Cindy Rose, aimed at creating a more unified growth structure across the company’s global operations.
Previously serving as Global Chief Business Officer at WPP Media, Toby has played a significant role in shaping the organization’s business growth strategy and helping strengthen its market positioning during a period of structural transformation within WPP’s media operations.
A long-standing leader within WPP’s media ecosystem, Toby brings more than two decades of experience across the organization, including previous leadership roles as Worldwide Chief Operating Officer of MediaCom and Global CEO of Wavemaker.
In his new position, Toby will join WPP’s executive committee and continue supporting integrated growth initiatives across the company’s evolving operating structure. The role reflects increasing industry focus on unified client leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and integrated business development across media, creative, production, and enterprise services.
During his tenure at WPP Media, Toby helped support major business wins including Adidas, Amazon, Audible, PlayStation, Reckitt, and Richemont, among others.
The move also highlights how major holding companies are reshaping leadership models to adapt to AI-driven transformation, integrated service delivery, and changing client expectations around measurable business impact and operational agility.
