KFC India has appointed Suhayl Limbada as Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its leadership team as it focuses on accelerating growth in one of its key markets.
In this role, Suhayl will lead the brand’s marketing strategy, with a focus on strengthening brand equity, driving demand, and building a high-impact marketing organisation. The mandate includes aligning marketing initiatives with long-term business objectives while maintaining relevance in a competitive quick service restaurant landscape.
Suhayl brings extensive global experience within the KFC network. Most recently, he served as Market Lead and Chief Marketing Officer at KFC Thailand, where he drove consistent sales growth, expanded market share, and elevated brand equity to global benchmarks. His work in the region has been closely aligned with scaling performance while maintaining strong consumer engagement.
Prior to this, Suhayl held key roles across South Africa and other emerging markets, contributing to brand transformation and market expansion initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked with Mondelēz International and Kraft Heinz, building a strong foundation in consumer-centric marketing, P&L leadership, and strategic brand management.
His appointment reflects the continued importance of marketing leadership in driving growth within the QSR sector, where brand differentiation and customer engagement remain critical.
