Qlik Appoints Saugata Saha as Chief Executive Officer

Saugata Saha has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Qlik, effective July 31, 2026, as the company accelerates its next phase of enterprise AI and data platform growth.

Saugata joins Qlik from S&P Global, where he most recently served as President of S&P Global Market Intelligence and Chief Enterprise Data Officer. During his tenure, he led major transformation initiatives across enterprise data and intelligence platforms while driving AI adoption, interoperability, productivity, and revenue growth.

He succeeds Mike Capone, who stepped down after leading Qlik for eight years. The leadership transition comes at a pivotal time for Qlik as enterprises increasingly prioritize trusted data infrastructure, AI governance, analytics modernization, and scalable business intelligence platforms.

In announcing the appointment, Qlik highlighted Saugata’s extensive experience in building, scaling, and commercializing large enterprise data and intelligence businesses. At S&P Global, he led both the Energy and Market Intelligence divisions through periods of accelerated growth and operational transformation.

Saugata emphasized that the next major challenge for enterprise AI lies in making data trusted, connected, and adaptable across increasingly complex business environments. He noted that Qlik is uniquely positioned to help organizations move from AI experimentation toward measurable business outcomes at enterprise scale.

Today, Qlik serves more than 30,000 customers globally, including over 75% of Fortune 500 companies. The company continues to strengthen its market position across data integration, analytics, data quality, and AI-driven business intelligence solutions.
