Purnima Lamba has been appointed Chief Brand Officer at Mahindra Group, effective September 1, 2026, as the conglomerate continues strengthening its corporate brand narrative and communications strategy across global markets.
Purnima joins Mahindra Group after an extensive global career spanning nearly 25 years at Unilever, where she held senior leadership positions across India, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Her experience includes building tech-enabled consumer experiences, digital media strategies, and global brand initiatives.
In her new role, she will lead Mahindra Group’s corporate brand and communications strategy, oversee brand consistency across its diverse business verticals, and help shape a unified, purpose-driven brand identity across traditional and digital ecosystems.
The appointment reflects the increasing importance of enterprise-wide brand orchestration as large global organizations continue aligning digital transformation, customer experience, and corporate reputation strategies under unified leadership structures.
