Article content
Prasenjit Deb has joined PwC India as a Partner, becoming part of the firm's One Consulting - Cloud, Engineering & Data Analytics practice in Mumbai.
In his new role, Prasenjit will focus on growing PwC India's Google Cloud competency, while working with clients and fellow leaders to create value through cloud transformation, data analytics, and emerging technologies including Agentic AI.
Expanding Google Cloud and Emerging Technology Capabilities
Prasenjit's new mandate comes as organizations increasingly look beyond cloud migration toward broader transformation across data, analytics, AI, and intelligent automation.
At PwC India, he will work with the consulting leadership team to help clients adopt Google Cloud and build capabilities around data-driven transformation and emerging technologies.
A key area of focus will be Agentic AI, as enterprises explore how increasingly autonomous AI systems can be integrated into business processes and technology environments.
His experience across cloud and enterprise technology positions him to help bridge technology adoption with measurable business outcomes.
A New Chapter After Google Cloud
The move marks a significant career transition for Prasenjit after nearly six years at Google Cloud.
Reflecting on his time with the company, he highlighted Google's culture of openness, mutual respect, diversity, and leadership as among the most meaningful aspects of his experience.
He also credited his managers, mentors, teammates, customers, and ecosystem partners for shaping his journey and helping build lasting relationships throughout his time at Google Cloud.
Prasenjit described joining PwC as his first experience with a Big Four firm, an opportunity he had long hoped to pursue during his career.
Bringing Cloud, Data and AI Together
The convergence of cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and AI is creating a broader transformation agenda for enterprises.
For consulting organizations, the opportunity increasingly lies in helping businesses connect these technologies rather than approaching them as separate initiatives.
Prasenjit's charter at PwC India reflects this shift, bringing together Google Cloud expertise with broader capabilities across engineering, data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies.
Looking Ahead
As enterprises accelerate their investments in cloud and AI, demand is growing for partners that can combine technical expertise with strategic guidance and execution.
Prasenjit will work with PwC India's teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to strengthen its Google Cloud capabilities and support organizations navigating their next phase of technology transformation.
For him, the move also marks the beginning of a new professional chapter, while maintaining the relationships and partnerships built during his years at Google Cloud.
