Realtime Robotics has appointed Kevin Carlin as Chief Executive Officer, as the robotics company prepares to scale its platform across automotive and other complex manufacturing environments.

Kevin has worked alongside Peter Howard and the Realtime Robotics team for several years and will now lead the company's next phase of growth. Peter will continue supporting the company as Chairman.

Scaling Robotics for Manufacturing

As CEO, Kevin will focus on scaling Realtime Robotics' business, deepening relationships with global automotive manufacturers and expanding the company's reach across their broader production ecosystems.

The company's Resolver platform is designed to help manufacturers address complex engineering challenges, reduce bottlenecks and accelerate production program launches.

Kevin said the immediate priority is to build on the platform's existing adoption among leading global automakers while delivering measurable results for customers and stakeholders.

Expanding Beyond Automotive

While automotive remains a key market for Realtime Robotics, Kevin sees broader opportunities across manufacturing.

Many of the engineering and automation challenges addressed by the company's technology extend beyond automotive into other industries with complex production environments.

The company plans to build on its experience in automotive manufacturing and position its platform for adoption across additional manufacturing sectors.

Building on the Company's Foundation

Kevin credited Peter and the broader Realtime Robotics team for helping build a platform that has gained the trust of demanding manufacturing customers.

As he takes on the CEO role, he will work with the company's leadership, board, customers and employees to build on that foundation and accelerate the company's growth.

Peter's continued involvement as Chairman will provide continuity as the company enters its next phase.

Looking Ahead

The appointment comes as manufacturers continue investing in automation and robotics to improve engineering efficiency, shorten production timelines and address increasingly complex manufacturing requirements.

With Kevin leading the company, Realtime Robotics will focus on expanding its customer relationships, scaling the Resolver platform and pursuing opportunities across a broader range of manufacturing industries.
