NextRoll has appointed Jay Webster as Chief Technology Officer as the company continues expanding the AI and data infrastructure behind its AdRoll advertising platform.
In the role, Webster will oversee engineering across software development, data science, and operational systems, supporting NextRoll’s broader efforts to build more connected and intelligence-driven advertising experiences for marketers navigating fragmented digital ecosystems.
The appointment comes at a time when advertising and marketing technology companies are increasingly investing in AI-powered automation, predictive audience intelligence, and cross-channel orchestration as privacy regulations and signal loss reshape digital marketing strategies.
Webster joins NextRoll from NaviStone, where he served as Chief Technology Officer. He brings experience across martech, ecommerce, behavioral targeting, and programmatic advertising, having also held leadership positions at organizations including Cision, Valassis, and Choose Energy.
The move also reflects NextRoll’s ongoing investment in emerging advertising channels such as connected TV (CTV), digital out-of-home advertising (DOOH), and AI-assisted campaign workflows. The company has been positioning AdRoll as a unified platform capable of helping marketers manage customer engagement and advertising performance across multiple channels.
According to NextRoll leadership, the company’s technology roadmap is increasingly focused on helping marketers move beyond isolated channel optimization toward more connected and adaptive advertising ecosystems powered by AI and real-time intelligence.
