Accenture has appointed Daniel Pettibone as Managing Director, Google Tech Strategy & Transformation Lead, within the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG), strengthening its leadership capabilities across Google Cloud, enterprise transformation, and emerging AI technologies.

Daniel joins Accenture following his most recent role as Managing Director at PwC, where he led Cloud FinOps capability development and digital transformation advisory.

With two decades of experience working across large-scale transformations from both hyperscaler and systems integrator perspectives, Daniel brings a broad view of how enterprises can translate cloud and emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes.

Bringing a Dual Perspective to Enterprise Transformation

In his new role, Daniel will work with CIOs, CTOs, and other enterprise leaders to navigate complex technology transformations and identify opportunities to increase business value.

His experience across cloud strategy, FinOps, and digital transformation positions him to help organizations connect technology investments with more effective operating models and business priorities.

The role also places Daniel at the intersection of Google Cloud and Agentic AI, two areas increasingly shaping how enterprises approach modernization and intelligent operations.

Advancing Google Cloud and Agentic AI

As enterprises move beyond experimentation with generative AI toward more autonomous and agent-driven systems, technology leaders are increasingly focused on the operating models, governance, and cloud foundations required to scale these capabilities responsibly.

Daniel's mandate at Accenture will center on helping enterprise leaders leverage Google Cloud, modern operating models, and Agentic AI to drive transformation and create greater value from technology investments.

His cross-industry transformation experience adds another layer to Accenture's work with organizations looking to modernize their technology environments while preparing for the next phase of AI-led enterprise change.

From PwC to Accenture

Daniel's move follows his tenure at PwC, where he focused on building Cloud FinOps capabilities and advising organizations on digital transformation.

He credited the teams, mentors, and colleagues at PwC for playing an important role in shaping his professional journey and expressed gratitude for the experience as he begins his next chapter.

The transition also reflects the value of experience gained across different sides of the technology ecosystem. Having worked across hyperscaler and systems integrator environments, Daniel brings an understanding of both technology platforms and the consulting-led transformation required to operationalize them at enterprise scale.

Looking Ahead

Daniel will now join the AGBG and Accenture Cloud First teams, working alongside enterprise technology leaders as organizations rethink cloud operations, transformation strategies, and AI adoption.

As businesses move toward more intelligent and autonomous technology environments, leaders with experience spanning cloud economics, transformation, and enterprise technology strategy will play an increasingly important role in turning emerging capabilities into sustainable business value.
