Christine Gambino Named CEO of Omnicom’s Omni Platform

Omnicom has elevated Christine Gambino to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Omni Platform, marking a significant leadership transition as the company continues expanding its AI-driven marketing and sales intelligence capabilities.
In her new role, Gambino will lead the continued evolution of Omni, Omnicom’s integrated marketing intelligence platform designed to unify data, AI, media, commerce, and customer intelligence across the organization. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time as Omnicom accelerates adoption of the next-generation Omni platform following the company’s integration with Interpublic assets and broader connected capabilities strategy.
Prior to this elevation, Gambino served as Chief Operating Officer of Omni, where she oversaw operations for a team of more than 1,000 product and technology leaders focused on building Omnicom’s marketing intelligence ecosystem. She played a central role in scaling the platform’s AI, automation, predictive analytics, and operational capabilities across the business.
Before joining Omni, Gambino spent six years at Flywheel, leading engineering, product, and data science functions while driving innovation in commerce intelligence and automation. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Under Armour, UPS, and CasSevern, building deep expertise across technology operations, product development, and enterprise transformation.
The transition follows the departure of Duncan Painter, who is stepping down to pursue a leadership opportunity in the United Kingdom. Simultaneously, Alex McCord will assume leadership of Omnicom Commerce while continuing in his role as CEO of Flywheel.
Gambino’s appointment reflects the growing importance of AI-native marketing infrastructure in modern advertising and media organizations. As brands increasingly seek unified data, predictive intelligence, and measurable business outcomes, Omni has become a central platform powering Omnicom’s broader connected capabilities strategy.
