Agencia Tangoº has appointed Sergio Mendez as Chief Executive Officer, marking his return to the Madrid-based creative agency to lead its next phase of growth. The move reflects the agency’s focus on strengthening its capabilities across brand strategy, content, and entertainment-driven storytelling.
In his new role, Mendez will oversee the agency’s strategic direction, with an emphasis on integrating creative, content, and cultural narratives to help brands connect more effectively with audiences. His appointment comes at a time when agencies are increasingly operating at the intersection of media, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
Mendez brings experience spanning agencies, music, digital talent, and business strategy. He joins from Warner Music Spain, where he spent over seven years and most recently served as Artist Services and Institutional Relations Director, working across artist partnerships and institutional engagement. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in business development at 2btube and strategy and development at Interprofit. He began his agency journey at Agencia Tangoº and earlier worked with Ogilvy and Gotiva Events.
His return signals a broader shift in creative leadership, where expertise across content, creators, and platforms is becoming central to modern brand building. The appointment positions Agencia Tangoº to navigate an evolving landscape shaped by the convergence of entertainment and marketing.
