SolidBlue and Xenith IG Partner to Strengthen Digital Infrastructure for BeFa’s AI-Ready Industrial Estate

Article content
As artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data centers, automation, and smart manufacturing reshape industrial investment, reliable digital connectivity is becoming as important to industrial estates as traditional infrastructure such as power, water, and logistics.
Against this backdrop, SolidBlue, through PT Kawasan Lintas Biru Digital (KLBD), has entered into a strategic collaboration with PT Xenith IG Indonesia Network (Xenith IG) to strengthen digital infrastructure at Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate (BeFa) in Bekasi, West Java.
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the “Powering The AI Ready Industrial Ecosystem – Power, Connection, Assured” ceremony on August 27, 2026, at Garuda Wisnu Kencana in Bali.
Building the Digital Foundation for AI-Ready Industry
The collaboration comes as industrial tenants increasingly require connectivity infrastructure capable of supporting high-performance digital workloads.
For companies operating data-intensive environments, digital infrastructure needs to provide reliability, scalability, security, and resilience. These requirements are becoming particularly important as enterprises adopt AI applications, cloud platforms, IoT, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
BeFa is responding to this shift through the development of BeFa Digital Town, an area being prepared to support AI, data centers, cloud computing, digital manufacturing, and other technology-driven industries.
SolidBlue is playing a central role in developing the connectivity foundation within the industrial estate, while the collaboration with Xenith IG is intended to extend that infrastructure into a wider digital ecosystem.
Connecting BeFa to the Wider Digital Economy
The partnership is designed to connect the industrial estate to strategic digital infrastructure along the Jakarta–Cikampek corridor, one of Indonesia's key industrial and infrastructure routes.
For tenants, the expanded connectivity is expected to provide greater access to network infrastructure capable of supporting AI workloads, cloud services, data centers, hyperscalers, and other digital applications.
Leo Yulianto Sutedja, President Director of BeFa, said infrastructure certainty is increasingly important for investors and that being AI-ready requires more than individual utilities.
“For us, being AI-ready means providing tenants with that certainty from day one of their investment.”
The approach reflects a broader shift in industrial estate development, where digital connectivity is increasingly being treated as part of the core infrastructure required to attract technology-intensive businesses.
Xenith IG Extends Fiber Infrastructure
For Xenith IG, the partnership expands its role within Indonesia's growing digital infrastructure landscape.
The company will collaborate with SolidBlue on the design and deployment of fiber optic infrastructure within the BeFa industrial estate, with a focus on supporting the resilience and scalability requirements associated with AI workloads and hyperscalers.
Noah Drake, CEO of Xenith IG, highlighted the company's more than 650 kilometers of metro dark fiber network, which provides diverse routes and low-latency connectivity to digital infrastructure hubs along the Jakarta–Cikampek corridor.
This broader network access is intended to give BeFa tenants connectivity options beyond the boundaries of the industrial estate while linking them to a larger ecosystem of digital infrastructure.
Infrastructure Designed for the AI Era
The collaboration reflects how the requirements of industrial infrastructure are changing as AI becomes embedded across enterprise operations.
AI workloads can place significant demands on connectivity, computing, storage, and power infrastructure. Industrial estates seeking to attract data centers, hyperscalers, AI companies, and advanced manufacturers therefore need to consider digital infrastructure as part of their long-term development strategy.
For BeFa, the SolidBlue-Xenith IG collaboration adds a connectivity layer to its broader effort to develop an AI-ready industrial environment.
The partnership also gives tenants access to infrastructure designed to scale as their technology requirements evolve, potentially supporting applications spanning AI, cloud computing, data centers, IoT, and smart manufacturing.
Strengthening Indonesia’s Digital Infrastructure
Indonesia's continued growth as a destination for technology and industrial investment is increasing demand for reliable digital infrastructure outside traditional technology hubs.
By combining SolidBlue's industrial-estate connectivity capabilities with Xenith IG's broader dark fiber network, the collaboration aims to strengthen the digital infrastructure available to businesses operating within and around the BeFa ecosystem.
As industrial development becomes increasingly intertwined with AI and digital technologies, connectivity will play a larger role in determining how effectively industrial estates can support the next generation of businesses.
