InMobi Acquires MobileAction to Expand iOS AI Growth

InMobi has announced the acquisition of MobileAction, an AI-powered app growth and analytics platform focused on iOS marketing and App Store optimization, as the company continues expanding its AI-driven advertising and commerce ecosystem. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, MobileAction is known for its expertise in Apple Ads, App Store Optimization (ASO), and AI-powered app analytics that help marketers improve app discoverability, performance, and user acquisition across the iOS ecosystem.
The acquisition strengthens InMobi Advertising’s capabilities in helping brands and app developers drive growth through AI-powered optimization, organic discovery, and precision advertising within Apple’s increasingly privacy-focused ecosystem.
The move also expands InMobi’s broader full-stack strategy by integrating MobileAction’s app intelligence capabilities with Glance, InMobi’s agentic commerce and consumer engagement platform. Together, the combined ecosystem aims to provide marketers with deeper visibility, predictive intelligence, and more effective customer acquisition strategies.
According to the company, MobileAction’s platform currently provides access to data spanning more than 90 million creatives, 6 million keywords, 5 million apps, 100,000 publishers, and over 500,000 advertisers globally. Its customer base includes major global brands and app publishers such as Google, Meta, DoorDash, Square, Zalando, Playtika, and Priceline.
Rohit Dosi, Vice President and General Manager at InMobi, said the acquisition reflects the industry’s shift toward AI-led intelligence and platform-native expertise, where marketers increasingly require both scale and precision to compete effectively.
MobileAction Founder and CEO Aykut Karaalioglu described the deal as an opportunity to accelerate the company’s product roadmap and deliver greater value to marketers globally through a shared vision around AI-powered advertising and data-driven decision-making.
Following the acquisition, MobileAction will continue operating as a dedicated platform while its teams across the United States, Europe, and Turkey join the InMobi Group. InMobi also confirmed plans to invest further in MobileAction’s product innovation and international expansion efforts, particularly across the US, APAC, and MENA regions.
The acquisition highlights how AI-powered app growth platforms are becoming increasingly important as mobile advertising evolves under stricter privacy frameworks and platform-native ecosystems. With marketers relying more heavily on predictive intelligence, ASO, and AI-driven optimization, specialized app growth infrastructure is emerging as a key competitive differentiator in the global mobile advertising market.
